Landlords issuing N12 notices citing personal or family use, or N13 notices for renovation, demolition, or unit conversion, could also be required to file the notice with the city, along with the new or renewed lease.
Laws and rules already exist regarding this issue.It is specified in many places. The onus is on the tenant to know the rules, instead of B--ch,whine and complain to the media.
If the landlord is violating the the rules regarding this, they should also know what the penalties are.
