This is why we are working hard to make Airbnb illegal. This will mean landlords will soon not have this shady option to avoid the Residential Tenancy Act :D

Yes, it's time to ban airbnb and fine them a billion dollars which can then be paid out to all the tenants who lost places to call our own homes!
