My tenant assaulted me to the point of the hospital!!

I was assaulted by my tenant and they were taken away and charged. I was taken away in an ambulance and the tenant was released from jail before I got out of the hospital. I have served an N7 and they bumped the hearing date up to May 3rd due to the severity of the case. What are some suggestions on what I should do for the hearing? I have pictures of the injuries, all the police occurance numbers and investgating officers of all the incidents in the past 2 months. I cannot get any information from the freedom of informatiom act on the assault due to the fact that she has not had her first appearance in court. Can I summon the investigating officer in any way? How can I get this tenant out of my house because they are ruining my life and I fear for my safety.
